We, İzmir Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi A.Ş. (“Teknopark İzmir”) as the data controller, would like to enlighten you about processing of your personal data during your application to İzmir NIC Programme and evaluation process of your application.

The personal data that shared with Teknopark İzmir electronically is processed within the framework of the following purposes and legal reasons:

• Personal data which belongs to the applicant team leader, consist of “name, surname, telephone number, e-mail, company information, short biography, Linkedin profile and visual and audio recordings included in the video/voice record about presentation of the idea/product/company will be processed for receiving the application and proceeding the application and evaluation process of the program according to the to the Article 5/2/c of Law (“establishment and execution of the contract”) and the Article 5/2/f of Law (“data controller’s legitime interest”).
• Personal data which belongs to the team members, shared by the applicant, including “name, surname, company information, the role in the team, short biography, Linkedin profile” will be processed for receiving the application and proceeding the application and evaluation process of the program according to the to the Article 5/2/c of Law (“establishment and execution of the contract”) and the Article 5/2/f of Law (“data controller’s legitime interest”).

The personal data stated above will be transferred to the referees, coaches, and consultants in charge of the project for the evaluation of the applications and the project operations, based on the same legal reasons written above.

In addition, the e-mail address of the applicant team leader will be processed based on your explicit consent according to Article 5 /1 of the Law for sharing with you surveys, informing you about our activities, events and programs and sending commercial messages. In this regard, the e-mail address will be transferred to the technical service providers located abroad based on the same legal basis stated herein.

We would like to emphasize that if you share personal data which may belongs to the third parties such as your team members and customers, you’re obliged to enlighten them and obtain their explicit consent (if necessary) before sharing their personal data with us.
