Call Application #2: Sector & Solution

In this section you have to select in which sector and sub-sector your product, service or solution fits into?

Solution Category: Since the proposal is only open to companies that operate in ICT or Energy sector you only have 2 choices as sector.

When you select your sector a second menu will appear in the right with all the sub-sector options. As already mentioned we are using the EIC taxonomy.

Applications of your solutions: In which sector(s) could your product, service or technology be applied or used.. (For consistency we are using again the EIC Taxonomy).

For example: you may have a great ICT solution that uses IoT sensors and cloud computing for monitoring crops and water resources. In this case your solution category is ICT (1st question) and the applications of your solutions are mainly in Agriculture / Rural Development / Fisheries.

In this section you need to describe your solution.

• Project Name: Tell us the (proposed) name of your product, services or technology.
• Project One-Liner: Describe Your Project in 360 characters. Basically, your Twitter description of the product or services. For example: Our software / hardware / infrastructure....for the XXX industry to reduce emissions. If you are working on more than one project at a time, please specify only one, and fill the application for this product / services. One project is already more than enough for an entrepreneur 😊 
• Problem: What problem does your product/ service / solution solve? Please reference why it is a big problem and how urgent is it for that specific industry. We are looking for aspirins, ibuprofens or diclofenac solutions for the problem 😊.
• Solution: Please describe the technical aspects of your product or services (1500 characters) For example: We have an IOT Data Analytic platform for the Renewable Energy industry. We deploy our solution as a platform-as-a-service benefiting from TensorFlow algorithms to provide asset intelligence etc. Our solution includes the following features: Predictive Intelligence for Assembly Lines, Load Prediction for..., Portfolio Benchmarking analysis for..., etc.
• Stage: Which stage are you in in terms of product life cycle? For example: What Technology Readiness Level (TRL) are you at? Is your product off-the-shelf and is selling in the market, at beta version stage, just a lab-prototype etc.
• Competition: How is your product / services different from the others available in the market? For example: lower cost, higher quality, higher performance, increased efficiency, etc
